Getting so close to maiden. But, I feel I keep saying that. 🙁 The punch list feels endless at times but it’s pretty short now. Bit more wiring, aileron pushrods attached, cowl brackets (3D printed), flying wires and carburetor needle access. Final CoG check and battery placement. This motor is overkill (and heavy) so my batteries may be zip tied to the horizontal stab! Almost! You can see the plane sitting on the Xicoy weight/balance pucks. I have move a LOT of stuff further back in the fuselage. The remaining work pertains to telemetry sensors but that is not a requirement for maiden. May is a good month for maiden.
