The racing season continued with our third pylon racing event of 2026, held on July 18th. Big props to our first time CD for the event, Michael Graves! Special shout outs to our volunteers Ryan Jones, Alvin Slatton and his wife, Ed Morrison, Curt McIntyre and quick CD stand-in by Steve Cross – THANK YOU!
There were a total of 8 racers competing in 5 different classes in 13 heats of racing! Racing started about 10:25am with the Uproars up first.
Uproar Sport: Paul Geders 1st, Dan Morrison 2nd, Ralph Doyle a tight 3rd
Four-Star Sport: Paul Geders 1st, Ralph Doyle 2nd, Dan Morrison and Greg Tesson tied for 3rd
Stock Warbird: Paul Geders 1st, Dan Morrison 2nd, with Ralph Doyle and Bart Asher tied for 3rd
Unlimited Warbird: Paul Geders 1st, Steve Romanczuk 2nd
Sport EDF Jets: Dan Morrison 1st, Paul Geders 2nd
We finished with two full rounds retired due to the heat.
