Our last race of the year was another success. What a beautiful day…a little cross-wind…but we got through it! My first thoughts go to our workers. Without them the rest of us would not have the fun we have. Hats off to Kevin Mayden and Chris Webb our pylon cut judges. There was only one cut called today! To Rich Taylor, Terry Houts, and Curt McIntyre our lap counters…Thank you! Thanks to Steve Pokorny, Stephen Adams and Brian Gilmer for volunteering.
We had a good turnout and some incredibly close racing today. Several times the winner was not known till the last lap! We also found out that the Super Tiger GS40 was just as fast as the O.S. 46’s.
Next year we will be having a pylon race every month and will need individuals to step up and run each race as well as recruiting workers in advance to help the race be a success.
Thanks again to everyone involved with today’s race.
