Terry Houtes and Dave Brown ‘smashed the runway’ and the bumps are improving. Used the roller to press flat the raised portions. It will be end of May before it can be evaluated properly.

Mike Broyles has been speaking with his coworkers at Chesterfield City Works Dept. They expect water is being retained under runway and the concrete vs asphalt are reacting differently. The suggested waiting until end of May as well. It was suggested ‘worst case’ would be to remove the concrete patches and refill with compacted base and hot asphalt.

President’s Message

New Board-level committee, Finance Committee, is being established to look for options to ensure our Club is funded well into the future. Possibly 3-5 members from Sales, Legal and Creative background (Ralph G, Dan M, Steve P.) We could stand another with some legal expertise.

Don’t forget, the Spirits are a 501c3 charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.

New Safety Rules are effective. I have spoken to my printer and expect to have these printed in color at full resolution, then installed this month.

No sign for the GBR/Amrein corner, so one for entrance and now another available…suggestions?

Adjourn then bounce to Serra’s Pizza to discuss more lengthy, opinionated issues and lies after the gavel.
