Wow, this project is challenging given the lack of manual, photos, and one drawing. Manual was translated from German so the language is awkward and difficult to understand. The Manual was written for v3 of the kit and mine is either v1 or v2 so instructions do not align well. It is missing the plans for the lower wing panel and center section. I have numbered parts which do not appear anywhere on the plans. And a complete dearth of photos.
YouTube and forums; such as RCU, RCG, ScaleModelers, have been the only real resource. Most of those builds were of the v3 kits but the photos and videos provided a lot of insight. I spend a lot of time staring at the bench. Both Paul G and Wayne N stopped by the shop the look it over and shine some light in areas.
All the b*tching aside, it has been a fun build. With being unemployed for so long I needed something to FOCUS my brain. It was turning to mush. This has been helpful in that sense. And, I GOT A JOB! Starting 21April, after 9.5 months on the sidelines.
