We had a good time for the 2nd Annual Biplanes over Bonhomme Island event. Crowd was smaller than last year (likely due to heat) but we had a great time. It was an open event so we had some fast-movers as well.
I brought out the Barth 1:3 scale Waco due to demand from members to bring it to a club meeting. Attempted to bring the fuselage to the June meeting but it would NOT FIT in my Explorer. So, this time, I used my trailer and brought it all.
Sadly, I retired my Great Planes WACO arf with a RUD in the corn field. RUD, for those non-Elon-Musk-followers, is Rapid Unplanned Disassembly. It is a total loss of the airframe. Read the After Crash Report soon to be posted.
