- Wayne Nenninger showed his nearly complete and beautifully finished 1/5th Pica P-51. Two months ago, it was a show and tell as well, but, this time its covered in Monokote

Secretary’s Report: Stephen Adams
Stephen not present.
Minutes from April meeting accepted as shown on website
Treasury Report – Wayne Nenninger
Report accepted
Membership Report – Greg Tesson
Three new members present at the meeting
Field Committee Report – Paul Geders, Terry Houts and Greg Tesson.
The Runway bumps…the patches continue to shrink. It was discussed and decided that we wait until Jun mtg, then, if bumps are still a hazard, we grind them down in a closely scheduled work party. We’ll rent sidewalk grinders and cut them back…maybe 3-4 hours with 4-6 people.
Dave and Terry continue to keep the field grass looking park-like. Thank you guys!
A brief discussion of leaving the pit tables on the taxiway permanently was not well accepted…general push back around ‘its a walkway and pitting on it would force people to walk in the grass/mud.’
Safety Report – Sid Kinzel
New Safety Sign is up and looks great…thinking about adding a few more.
Dan Morrison reminds us FAA numbers must be on the outside of your aircraft somewhere, even if in microscopic font. This is the FAA’s rule that is nationwide, but in particular, our Airspace Authorization requires we maintain a list of all members and guests that fly at the field. There is a list in the pavilion display case for guests to record their information. Registering with FAA specifics are linked on our website homepage, article “Airspace Authorization, Remote ID, FRIA and AMA – What you need to fly.” The FAA charges $5 for a 3 year registration. You can use the same number on all your craft and re-register so the same number is kept as your number just like your AMA number.

President’s Message
New Board-level committee, Finance Committee, is being established to look for options to ensure our Club is funded well into the future. Possibly 3-5 members from Sales, Legal and Creative background (Ralph G, Dan M, Steve P.) We could stand another with some legal expertise.
Don’t forget, the Spirits are a 501c3 charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.
New Safety Rules are effective. I have spoken to my printer and expect to have these printed in color at full resolution, then installed this month.
No sign for the GBR/Amrein corner, so one for entrance and now another available…suggestions?
Adjourn then bounce to Serra’s Pizza to discuss more lengthy, opinionated issues and lies after the gavel.
