Spirits own Robert “Babe” Raab took advantage of the great weather to celebrate 4th of July with his grand-kids. Model rocketry is a great inexpensive way to get the kids involved in building and flying their own rockets. Estes Model Rockets and several others make some great kits that teach the basics of working with balsa and paper as well as some simple mechanical and electrical techniques with the launch mechanisms.
