Walt's "Longster Wimpy"

It's a semi-scale model of a 1930's home-built.  John Rawlings built the basic airframe from plans published in Model aviation in 1998.  It was designed for a geared brush-type motor and a ton of Ni-Cds.  I modified it to take a Great Planes Rimfire 35-30-1450 brushless motor and 11.1 V Li-Po.  It weighs 44 ounces and has a 58" wingspan.  It's covered with Monokote.
