Presented for your enjoyment are gallery upon gallery of Spirit’s activities photographed by various club members, and friends of the club. Wherever possible, credits are given to the photographer. There are well over 200 Spirits' Galleries linked to this page showcasing events as far back as 2001. Check out the tabs below to get an inside look at the Spirits through the years.
If you have some photos or video worth sharing, email the photos and You Tube links to the webmaster with your name and a brief description of the content and we'll see about getting them into the gallery.
Special thanks to Walt Wilson and Carolyn Schlueter
for their very large contributions to these galleries. Each of them has contributed hundreds and hundreds of photos to these collections. Spirits member’s past and present wish to express their appreciation for their keen eyes, capturing our history, and sharing their art with all of us.
Additional photo credits go to Greg Bowles, Gary Pyles, Vic Bunze, Bill Lindewirth, and several others lost to time. Special thanks go to Paul Geders for his countless hours of sorting and categorizing over one-thousand photos. The gallery format was the idea of Gary Pyles and with the help of Bill Lindewirth the two of them made it come to life on the web.
Spirits' Photo Galleries
Photo galleries are sorted by year in the tabs below. When you click on one of the titles under the tab a window will appear with a photo gallery of that event. Some galleries are quite large with more than 100 photos. Every effort has been taken to speed up the loading of these galleries. Sometimes it may take a little while to buffer all of the information. Please be patient if you experience this issue. The photos are worth waiting for.
Navigation of the Slide Show:
After selecting what you want to view, for example: under 2016 tab "At the Field", "Field Flooding January 2016", it is suggested that you click on the four white arrows at the top right corner of the screen to allow the photos to be displayed full screen on your monitor. At the bottom of the screen is a filmstrip identifying the photos in that particular slide show. The slideshow will start automatically and each photo will transition every 7 seconds, or you can click on the right or left arrows on the sides of the photo to go backwards or forwards. You can also click your mouse on any photo on the filmstrip to go directly to that photo. If you hold your mouse on an image it will pause until you move your mouse off of the image. When finished viewings hit the Esc button and close the tab to be returned to the "The Galleries".
